About this game

Review numbers in Grade 1 math (ages 6–7). Its questions come from the four goals already online, with numbers between 10 and 99: counting the dots in two ten frames, finding the number just before or just after a number, finding the missing number on a strip by counting on by ones, and choosing the greatest or the smallest of several numbers.

Review numbers, Grade 1

This review game covers numbers in math for the first year of elementary school. Its questions come from the four goals already online, with numbers between 10 and 99: counting the dots in two ten frames, finding the number just before or just after a number, finding the missing number on a strip by counting on by ones, and choosing the greatest or the smallest of several numbers.

Each round has 5 multiple-choice questions drawn at random. The instructions and answers are read aloud, and a bar shows how far along you are. After each answer, an explanation helps you understand. Hints are free, and you can go back.

The game is for children aged 6 to 7. Play it again for different questions.

Tip for success

One more is the next number; one less is the number before. When you cross a ten, look carefully: after 39 comes 40, and before 40 comes 39. To compare, look at the tens first: 52 is greater than 25.
