Ask a seven-year-old whether 14 is even and they may picture fourteen socks in pairs before they answer. That works for 14, but not for 487. This 2nd grade even and odd number line worksheet gives a quicker test: look only at the last digit. A note at the top says it plainly, even numbers end with 0, 2, 4, 6 or 8, and odd numbers end with 1, 3, 5, 7 or 9. Six number lines follow, from 10 to 20 up to a line that crosses 700. On each one, your child circles every even number or every odd number, as the instruction asks. A second page gives the answer key.
